Postal Holidays in USA Post Offices

The above holidays are known as Postal holidays. There is an important point that if a postal holiday occurs on Sunday then it will be observed on Monday and if a postal holiday occurs on Saturday then it will be observed on the Friday before that Saturday.

This postal holidays schedule is provided by USPS. All Employees of USPS will observe these holidays for their pay and leave purposes.

While these seven holidays are recognized across the country, it’s important to note that some states or regions may have additional holidays that are observed locally. These might include state holidays, such as Statehood Day or Emancipation Day, which reflect the unique history and culture of certain areas.
